Holly & Rob were married earlier this year at Ramsdale Golf Club, Calverton. This is a venue where some of the views are fantastic and you even get a buggy to take you there! Martelle were honoured to be their photographers.
This was a day of mixed weather. It started nice and sunny and then we had downpours on and off throughout the late afternoon. Luckily for Holly & Rob we were able get out for the shots in between those rainfalls. It would be true to say that no guests were harmed in the taking of photos! Harmed as in getting wet!
Holly got ready at her mums house whilst Rob was with his best man at his house. We were asked to get photos of the 2 cats, whom Holly loves dearly, and this proved tricky as they turned in to hide and seek champions the moment we arrived! Rob meanwhile was quite happy to show off his 1st place trophy from the previous days go-carting!
I don’t think we have seen a more relaxed bride than Holly on her wedding day. She was amazing and when she got changed into her wedding dress she looked simply stunning. Rob is lucky man!
At the venue the guests arrived and were warmly greeted and then every one took their place ready for the Bride’s arrival. However at this time the Bride was hiding – as a few guests had arrived late! Martin was doing his very best to block their views!
The ceremony took place upstair in a private area and was beautiful with a few emotional faces! Immediately afterwards we went outside and the groups shots before taking Holly & Rob up the hill in the buggy to the Fairway at the top. We got a few shots there, which Holly had asked for and then we headed back.
There was a greeting line for all before the Wedding Breakfast and then the speeches were held. We took advantage of this time by grabbing a bar meal and a coffee. The day unfolded after the speeches into a relaxed and casual evening with Holly grabbing anyone and getting a photo of them. She took a break from this to have her 1st dance with Rob and then party and dance some more with her friends. We took the groomsmen off for a few snaps before kidnapping Holly (we didn’t really kidnap her) from the dance floor and grabbing the evening shots and getting our classic Umbrella shot.
So heres a few images from the day.
